Today Orion’s Kindergarten class took a field trip to the Pt. Defiance Zoo. I was one of the many parent chaperons to also attend.
It was the first time since High School that I’d actually ridden on a school bus. It was quite a rowdy bunch with kids climbing under seats and crawling in the aisles of the bus.
The zoo was very nice and Orion said he enjoyed the sharks the best. He really liked runnin’ around with his buddy Otto too. They rode the carousel and also touched starfish and other small water animals. Lots of fun!
We lucked out and the rain held off until right as we returned home. It was a very educational and fun trip.
