This weekend we actually had beautiful, sunny weather. So today, Daddy loaded up Orion and headed out to get loads of manure to put in his raised beds along the side yard.
Daddy and Orion are planting a vegetable garden. We have hopes that if Orion actually sees veggies grow that he’s planted he may be inspired to eat them. It’s very wishful thinking.
Both boys enjoyed digging in the manure (ewwww…yuck!) Only boys would love such a thing. Daddy told the boys they would get 5 cents for each worm they found. No worms were found but lots of fun was had.
