We headed to Grandmas house to celebrate thanksgiving and spend the night. The meal was very nice and it was nice to visit with everyone.
But, that evening Oliver got extremely sick. He had double pink eye, a fever of 104.5, and a horrible cough. Mommy stayed up all night with him trying to keep him comfortable.
The next day we were all exhausted but Orion was chipper and healthy. So, Grandma and Grandpa graciously offered to keep Orion for a few days so we could deal with Ollie’s illness and get some rest.
This turned out to be a wonderful thing for Orion since he longed for an extended stay at Grandma’s without us. He loves her undivided attention.
They had a great time. They played at the mall and watched the nutcracker suite dancers. They went to the flower shop and church. And they even made a trip to the Pt. Defiance zoo. Orion was thrilled and now keeps asking about when he can do a sleepover at Grandmas again. He sure loves being spoiled by his Grandparents!
