Orion is an ever-evolving little critter. On Monday we had his parent/teacher conference and his teacher was so impressed with his new coping abilities. He was transitioning well and engaging in peer play. It was mostly glowing stuff.
And yet, we sometimes still have the typical meltdowns. Today at Occupational Therapy we had a mild one. He did not want to leave because he was having such fun. He started to throw a fit but surprisingly let it go much faster than normal. I was expecting the typical ongoing blowout that prevents us from continuing with a normal day. But not this time. I’m very proud of Orion.
He seemed to have a good day at school and got off the school bus wearing a purple heart on his shirt and this cute valentine’s day hat. He was very proud so I took a picture.
