Well, Daddy was supposed to have returned home from his trip but he got stuck in Chicago overnight because of a mechanical problem on one of his flights.
Orion was antsy and wanted to get outside. So, I made a bold move (for me) and loaded both boys up and went to Friendly Grove park. This was the first time I’d ever gone to the park alone with both boys. I have always been so afraid that Orion would run away or fall off of something and I couldn’t get to him. That didn’t happen.
The weather was overcast so Orion was the only kid playing on the toys…which actually was nice. Ollie hung out happily in the baby bjorn. I thought going it alone would be difficult but it really wasn’t. It makes me wonder why I hold myself hostage at home so often.
