It’s Friday and Orion got off the school bus early. He was in good spirits.
After lunch and a warm bath he chose his outfit to wear of a Finding Nemo t-shirt and a Hawaiian hat that didn’t really fit him anymore. Then mommy chased him around the room and tickled him. That brought on big smiles and giggles as you can see.
Orion is obsessed with a new CD/book he got called Dog Train by Sandra Boynton. There’s a song on it called “Penguin Lament” and he makes us listen to it over and over and over again! He likes to dance in the upstairs kitchen to it and watch his reflection in the stove. The lyrics are “I’m a little too cute, oh yes I know, I’m all dressed up but I’ve got no place to go”. He stares at himself and smiles when he says “a little too cute”. I think he knows it’s true!
