Christmas Tree hunting on Harstine Island 2006

Today we headed out for Benson Lake to check on the construction work at the new house Grandpa is building.

Then we went to Harstine Island to pick out our Christmas Tree. It was raining and even snowing a little at certain points of our drive…but it cleared when we got to the tree farm.

We found a nice 9 ft 3 inch Fraisier Fir. Daddy trimmed it down and set it up inside. We will decorate it tomorrow night.

Here’s a picture of Orion and Daddy trudging through the wetness to find the perfect tree!
