Well, today was the 4th of July and we decided to go to the Tumwater parade over by John's office. There were a few horses, pom-pom girls, dancers, old cars, a marching band, and politicians...your typical parade group. It didn't hold Orion's attention long so we headed back home.

Since the weather was warm we took out Orion's pool and he played in it for hours. Then I grilled bratworst while John watched Orion in the pool.

The fireworks nearby didn't start until 10:30pm and Orion was already in bed by then. So John walked up the street to take a look while I stayed with Orion. Pretty uneventful 4th. Maybe next year we will plan to do something more exciting.
