It's a 3 day weekend and we woke up today to beautiful weather. We decided to head for the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. Lots of birds and tall trees. John said some of it reminded him of the South...especially the river.

Then we headed home for lunch. While Orion napped I worked on some computer stuff while John trimmed the hedges. Then later in the evening we grilled out. It turned out to be a very clear, beautiful day. I hope it stays that way for the 4th!
